Osaka and Kyoto

I will compare Osaka and Kyoto. I live in Kyoto. I have many friends in Osaka. They have different things.

Kyoto is old city. It has many world heritage sites. There are beautiful places in Kyoto. I think there are many quiet places in Kyoto.

Osaka is very interesting city. I think Osaka is cheerful in the night. There are many interesting places. I think Osaka is interesting just walking.

Two cities have same things. Both cities like “Konamon”which is food using flour, for example, Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki. I like it.

Okonomiyaki

I like Okonomiyaki. Here’s how to make Okonomiyaki.
Okonomiyaki is like Japanese pizza. First, you cut cabbage and pork. Next, you mix flour and water and those. Finally, you roast it both sides on hot plate. It is very easy.

The bank robbery

One day, my mother and her grandson meet robber and they catch him. My mother and her grandson are in the bank. Her handbag and her umbrella are on her arm. The boy has a cookie. A man with a hat is walking in to a window. He pulls out a gun. He shows a note that asks for money. He takes two bags of money. He starts to run away. Mother hits him with her umbrella. She stops him. A policeman takes the robber away. A crowd watches. The bank director gives my mother a reward. She looks happy to get the money. Her grandson also has a smile on his face. He gets some candies from the bank director.

Where's Lorena?

On Tuesday, I read “Where’s Lorena?” This story level５ is easy. This story is about brother and sister, Alex and Lorena. She is a little girl. He leaves home with her. The place is amusement park. He meets a friend, during she is lost. He looks for her everywhere, but he can’t find her. He go back home. She is there, because she knows their phone number. She is very smart girl. I like this story because it was interesting. I think family is important. I recommend it.

Remembrance Day in Britain
November is the time of the year when we wear a red poppy in memory of those who sacrificed their lives for us during wars.

What is Remembrance Day?
Remembrance Day is on 11 November. It is a special day set aside to remember all those men and women who were killed during the two World Wars. At one time the day was known as Armistice Day and was renamed Remembrance Day after the Second World War. Remembrance Sunday is held on the second Sunday in November, which is usually the Sunday nearest to 11 November. Wreaths are layer beside war memorials by companies, clubs and societies. People also leave small wooden crosses by the memorials in remembrance of a family member who died in war.

Rio de Janeiro elected host city for 2016 Olympics

Tokyo and Chicago was trying to win the chance to host, but Tokyo and Chicago was eliminated after the first and second round. That’s too bad. Rio de Janeiro took a significant lead over Madrid heading into the final round. It decided to hold in Rio de Janeiro. Rio de Janeiro is first city that summer Olympic hold in South America. It is good things that Olympics held different city in the world. On 2008, Beijing Olympic was very successful. Rio de Janeiro is hoped to success around the world people

Summer vacation

I often went to club activity. I’m a manager of basketball team. It was very busy. I went to summer festival in local. I ate many foods. It was delicious. My cousin came to my house. My cousin lives in Kagawa prefecture. They gave me Sanuki Udon. Sanuki Udon is famous noodles in Kagawa prefecture. I enjoyed summer vacation, but very tired.

Interview

I had an interview with Mr.Dunham.
He came from California. He had been in Japan for around twenty years.
He married a Japanese woman. He met her in America. He was not interested in Japan still he met her. He wanted to understand to his wife culture, so he came to Japan. I think it is very romantic answers. He loves her very much.
He felt that it is very hot in Japan first impression. He thinks that there are many different things America and Japan. For example Tuna. American Tuna is fresh, but Japanese Tuna is frozen. He likes Okonomiyaki.
He go back to work America once a year, so he didn’t meet his parents. He wanted to meet his parents.
I think he was very good person. He treasures his wife. I think well that I ask to him.

Holidays

Winter holidays

I went to Kaiyu-kan with friends on Christmas Eve. It was very beautiful illumination.
I went to Shijo with friend on Christmas. There were many people in Shijo.
I went to grandmother house. She lives in Osaka. I met my grandmother and cousin. I got a New Year’s gift. We went to first visited to shrine. I ate much rice cake.
I enjoyed winter holidays.
